Glen and family, I to, am from Roanoke, near Smith Mt. Lake, and like Glenn Hudson, I wish you the best. My brother turned me on to your latest album because his wife’s parents both have had alzheimers and my brother and his wife have lived the life that only God could get them through. Her parents have past on now, but Glen’s album has been an inspiration to my brother and his wife, and me, indirectly. Thank you for sharing your life songs with us. I hope you know how many people’s lives you have impacted in a positive way. I’m listening to the CD now. Your story,” A Better Place”, hits home with me. I’m from the seventies and I loved the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Led Zeplin, and now Coldplay. I’ve never been hard core country, but I love all music, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Vince Gill, John Prine. Just so you know, you brought me over to the life side of music. Not rock or country, just story telling, like it used to be. God bless you Glen Cambell and your family.

Glen Campbell, I have to agree with Don. We love you so, and I for one never knew how much until now. I’m so moved by this project, and the love your family and the entire world is giving you. Glen, I was a kid on Smith Mountain Lake Virginia listening to your songs with my Dad and my Brother. There has never been anyone like you, and we know God has gifted you for the destiny you so courageously fulfilled, and are fulfilling. I speak the blessings of God, our Creator, and Jesus Christ, upon you and your family, in Jesus’ name. And, my heart breaks at the same time, with such love being shown to the entire world. This is your finest hour, dear friend. I am praying for you…. much love to you, straight to your heart.

Glen, you have touched many lives over the years. We love you. Your spirit and your music have been such a great inspiration to human kind; they have lifted us up. Your new song “Ghost on the Canvas” is so moving. We simply cannot find words to adequately express our emotion in response to such a beautifully crafted piece of artistic music…and that is probably just what was intended. Thank you, Glen.

Thank-you Glen for what you gave me in life the memories as a child sitting in the kitchen with the record player listening to your songs. Those memories still linger today you helped country music be what is is today thank-you for you’ve given me. I will continue to share my memories with others so they will know what country music was about when I was a child.
